Capital Project Close-out & Acquisitions

The Property Information Resource Center actively adds to its collections. In addition to materials related to new projects we seek to fill in the gaps identified in our historical collections. All materials acquired and accessioned into PIRC collections must meet the current collecting scope and guidelines. The PIRC collects this documentation as permanent record in a central location to facilitate the stewardship of Harvard University’s physical environment and assist in its planning for the future.

The Harvard University Corporation has mandated records retention policies which are applicable to all capital construction projects on campus. This page outlines the requirements for capital project close-out deliverables to be deposited with the PIRC.
