The Campus Planning team, led by Tanya Iatridis, is primarily focused on campus-based, institutional planning to create a sense of place, promote physical connections, and enrich the campus experience. The team supports the University’s excellence in teaching, research, and campus life and promotes stewardship of facilities, land, and capital financial resources in collaboration with the Schools and Departments as well as the broader community.
The work is intentionally inclusive, collaborative, and transparent. This enables the team to ensure that improvements are accessible, visible, and memorable. The Campus Planning team works to develop an overall planning framework for the University focused on flexible campus development and land use strategies, design excellence, campus connectivity, sustainability, and resiliency.
