Occupied in 2021 after more than a decade of planning and construction, the Science and Engineering Complex on Western Avenue represents a major investment in the future of engineering education at Harvard and a big step in the transformation of Harvard’s Allston land holdings.
HUPAD personnel worked with the Harvard Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences to bring this project to fruition, contributing to public approvals permitting, multiple peer design reviews, guidelines to shape the project’s streetscapes, and coordination on complex transportation and utility infrastructure elements of the project.
