Institutional Master Plans
As required by the City of Boston Zoning Code, Harvard’s campuses in Boston maintain Institutional Master Plans (IMPs) that describe existing facilities, long-range planning goals, and upcoming projects that exceed minimum thresholds. IMPs are updated and renewed periodically and may be amended as new projects are proposed.

Town Gown Report
Annual report to the City of Cambridge regarding Harvard’s Cambridge campus. Includes population, buildings, and land statistics, the status of current and planned construction projects, and information on the University’s sustainability efforts.
Parking and Transportation Demand Management
Report on the University’s Parking and Transportation Demand Management (PTDM) strategies and measures to reduce traffic congestion and to encourage use of alternative modes of transportation. Harvard’s PTDM Plan was approved in 2003 by the City of Cambridge, and is supplemented by annual progress reports documenting ongoing PTDM efforts.
